Twee Kitten review of ...Is The Postman
by Keith McLachlan

Had you ever found yourself wondering if Daniel Johnston would have been nearly as irritating had he been born in France rather than Texas? If it was not immediately obvious before, one listen to this record will reveal that the answer to your ponderings is a most emphatic YES!!! Extreme poo, which as it seems most things on Blackbean tend to be these days, well except for the Watoo Watoo cd. The vocals are twee as f**k and really dreadful enough to have reduced my opinion of an entire country I, in fact, already find largely distasteful. Were I extremely cruel I'd type something like godawful and an abomination to the realm of human senses but since I am a sweetheart I will just label it godawful.
